    • Alignment pins/bushings pre-installed – focus solely on fabricating your 3D inserts

    • Dual-sided claw clamping system for secure mold mounting

  2. 3D Insert Requirements

    • Recommended Printers: Origin, FormLabs, Markforged, Stratasys, Asiga

    • Critical Material Properties:

      • High-temperature resistance

      • High thermal conductivity

    • Materials Supported:

      • PP (Polypropylene), PE (Polyethylene), TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) ONLY

      • Avoid engineering resins (PC, Nylon, etc.) requiring high pressure/temps

    • Accessory: 1/8″ high-temp silicone rubber sheet (available via McMaster-Carr)

    • Tolerance Warning: Pins/bushings require machine or manual press installation

      Installation & SafetyNEVER hand-press components – risk of damage/injury


Critical Considerations

⚠️ Material Limitations

Use ONLY PP, PE, or TPE
Higher-performance resins require steel/aluminum molds due to pressure/temperature demands

⚠️ Temperature Management

  • No integrated sensor port for 3D inserts

  • Mold insulator strongly recommended to stabilize thermal performance
